I know your post is old, but wanted to let you know that I also have tethered cord syndrome. I was born with a mild form of spina bifida, which was corrected with surgery when I was two months old. In middle school, I developed scoliosis, which we later learned was related to tethered cord syndrome. Had my second surgery at age 14. I'm now 28 years old and generally healthy. I've shown no progressive symptoms over the years, but I keep an eye out. I hope you are coping well with your symptoms. Hang in there!
